Wine & Food in Central Otago

Central Otago is one of New Zealand's fastest growing wine regions. Central Otago is quickly building an international reputation for its Pinot Noir. There are several main grape growing areas in Central Otago. The largest area is around Cromwell and Bannockburn which has a spectacular Wine Trail along the Kawarau Gorge and Lake Dunstan. The Clyde and Alexandra Wine Trail is also well worth a visit.
