Nearly thirty years ago in the winter of 1978, Tim and Judy Finn planted their first vines close to the village of Neudorf. Today this small family owned winery has an international reputation for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Cellar door open every day, most of the year (closed Christmas Day, Boxing and New Year's Day).
Kahurangi Estate is a New Zealand family owned boutique vineyard specialising in handmade wines. Our Cellar Door is open 7 days for wine tastings, a range of local produce in our Delicatessen and Espresso Café. Hours are 10.30am – 4.30pm. We offer a unique retreat for travelers who wish to explore the beautiful Nelson Region, in our vineyard cottage.
