Labour & Construction: Most jobs
to be found in main centres.
Hospitality: Wide range of jobs available

Tax Requirements
Everyone working in New Zealand requires a tax number
(IRD number). You can download a form to apply for a
IRD number at www.ird.govt.nz.
Banking
Many business require employees to have a bank account
so they can pay wages directly into an employees bank
account. It is easy for travellers to open an account
with all the major banks in New Zealand
Accommodation
Many travellers on working holidays will choice to
