There are five major rivers suitable for fishing all within a 15 minute drive from The Homestead, in addition to the river fishing directly on our property. Local fishing guides are available at reasonable rates -- $NZ 400 per day for one or two anglers. We have 10 quiet farm horses. No experience is needed, and all ages catered for. Treks available from one hour to a full day along the banks of the Rough River
